About

CELEBRATING CULTURE, ARTS AND TRADITIONS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

The International Cultural and Educational Development Fund (ICEDF), is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization who supports and promotes educational development in arts, culture and humanities in order to preserve artistic and cultural heritage in the Washington DC metro area.

We partner with different organizations in the DMV area to share, educate and preserve cultural heritage through cultural performances, traditional dances and music, as well as ethnic food and traditional arts & crafts throughout different events in the Washington DC metro area. Through them, we present and educate our public on cultural diversity, arts and history preservation in hopes that it will be passed on and maintained from generation to generation.

2020 has been a very difficult year for the arts & humanities industry, and has impacted thousands of artists all over the world. Therefore, throughout our programs and events, we are trying to help and support artisans, crafters, as well as independent consultants and other small businesses together with dancers, musicians and other performers, overcome the challenges the pandemic has placed on our industry.

We invite and welcome you to one of our partner festivals this year, to share our love for traditions from around the world. You can view and join the upcoming cultural festivals in the Washington DC metro area, but clicking on the links below (please RSVP to the Facebook events – all events are free to attend, so please spread the word with your family and friends and come join us and support our artists!).

In 2024 we hope to be able to promote and support several local ethnic dance groups. They will participate and be promoted in some of our partner’s festivals in the DMV area:
